Skisporet.no consists of the following information elements:

Georeferenced point for the current ski resort displayed at all zoom levels. The color of the dot is automatically updated with the prep status interval color.
By pressing the ski resort point, you get a dialog with "Ski resort info" and "Show trails "+ shortcut to Routes and Wax Tip.
Ski resorts or areas without GPS "live" prep status on the ski trailes
Ski resorts or areas without GPS "live" status is marked with brown triangular icons and dotted brown lines on the map. This is ski trail data digitized from various sources.
- Trail segments
A trail segment is the distance between 2 intersections in the trail network.
See example picture below where a trail segment is the trail between trail junction A and B. The total length of the trail segment is 1.6 km
- Routes
A route can be a defined named stretch or round that consists of one or more trail segments defined in point 3. See example "Sjusjøvannet" in the picture below which consists of a total of 14 trail segments.
- POI - relevant points of interest
POIs are georeferenced points in the map, which are clickable and where the user can find more relevant information such as:

You will find georeferenced lubrication tips POIs in the map, which are clickable and where you get local lubrication tips mounting wax based on local YR weather data.
